The pool will be located on the 50th floor of the hotel
The upcoming St. Regis hotel, in the Palm Jumeirah, will feature a 360-degree infinity pool on its 50th floor.
Situated 700ft above ground level, the pool will border all four sides of the hotel.
Set to open in 2018, the hotel itself will be located within the Palm Tower, a 52-story building.
The 5-star property is part of a project between St. Regis mother company Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Palm Jumeirah developer Nakheel Properties.
It will be the third St. Regis in Dubai and the fifth in the UAE. It will comprise of 289 guest rooms and suites and 504 luxury apartments.
The floors above the pool, the 51st and 52nd, will boast a restaurant and public rooftop viewing deck consecutively.
Palm Tower will be connected to the new Nakheel Mall which is scheduled to open this year.
The mall will include 350 shops, a 15-screen VOX cinema, 12 restaurants and a medical centre.
It will neighbour the 1.1 million square foot Al Ittihad Park and the Palm Monorail, which will connect to the Emirate’s tram and metro lines.
