Dubai Chamber CEO and President Hamam Buamim says the website will help the Chamber engage with start-ups and provide them with support
Dubai Startup Hub, an initiative of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has announced the launched of a new, revamped website which it hopes will encourage cooperation between companies, start-ups and investors in the emirate’s entrepreneurial community.
The website, which was unveiled during the 2018 STEP Conference in Dubai, provides information on ey events, accelerators, incubators, jobs, courses and workspaces, as well as content published through videos and blogs.
The website also includes a forum in which users can pose questions.
“By providing an ideal environment where start-ups, companies and investors can connect and collaborate online, we are paving the way for fruitful co-operation that will enhance Dubai’s reputation as an attractive hub for the region’s start-ups,” said Hamad Buamim, the president and CEO of Dubai Chamber.
Buamim added that the website will also allow Dubai Chamber to “to engage directly with start-ups, take the pulse of this diverse community and provide them with access to valuable support, relevant content and access to business and networking opportunities.”
Dubai Startup Hub was launched in 2016, with the goal of connecting start-ups, entrepreneurs, developers, venture capitalists and students.
