Competition is open to start-ups offering solutions related to the Expo 2020 Dubai subthemes of opportunity, mobility and sustainability
The fifth cycle of the Dubai Smartpreneur Competition has been launched with over $40,000 up for grabs for the top three winners.
Other prizes include a four-day boot camp for the top 50 start-ups and an opportunity for the top ten start-ups to exhibit at Expo 2020 Dubai and meet with potential investors and business partners.
Launched by the Dubai Start-up Hub, an initiative of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the competition is open to start-ups offering solutions related to the Expo 2020 Dubai subthemes of opportunity, mobility and sustainability.
Over 1,600 smart business ideas were submitted over the last four cycles of the competition.
Following the submission deadline (February 26), entries will be evaluated and shortlisted with the selected candidates then qualifying for the training phase of the competition. At the final stage, the remaining candidates will be trained and guided before the top three winners are announced at an awards ceremony in April.
