StartUp Academy to focus customer centricity

Two expert speakers will advise the attendees of the next StartUp Academy on how to use customer-centric approach to stand out from the competition

The next Arabian Business StartUp Academy, taking place on Monday, 30 March, will explore the importance of putting the customer at the heart of ideas, marketing and all other decisions.

Starting at 8.30am at the JW Marriott Marquis, Business Bay, the breakfast workshop is open to start-up and SME owners and their team members who seek to build customer excellence and stand out from the competition.

The great service and experience a customer receives when doing business with a customer-centric company is a feature that distinguishes good companies from the excellent ones.

In the pursuit of this excellence, together with RAK Free Trade Zone and Mashreq Bank, the Academy will host two expert speakers to guide attendees how to create loyal fans of their businesses by executing a proper customer-centric strategy.

The first one to take the floor will be Salam Saadeh, the co-founder and COO of UrbanBuz, a Dubai-based digital customer loyalty platform, which specialises in building loyalty programmes tailor-made for each merchant’s particular needs.

When asked what the attendees can expect from her presentation, Saadeh said: “Keeping customers happy and satisfied is becoming more and more important.

“With customers on the go all the time and connected through multiple channels to their favorite businesses and brands, organizations have to quickly re-adapt their strategies to meet their evolving customer demands. Such strategies involve focusing on personalized customer engagement across all channels.‎”

The audience will then have the pleasure of learning from the Entrepreneurs Organisation UAE’s regional membership director – Fadi Fallaha.

After a short networking break, Fallaha, managing partner at Fallaha Brothers, a leading regional textile wholesaler present in the GCC since 1925, will share with the audience how he has grown his customer base and overcome the never-ending challenges in the fine suiting fabrics industry.
