Starwood Hotel set for Abu Dhabi

Starwood Hotels and Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) have announced a new Element Hotel, which will be part of the Capital Centre project.

Starwood Hotels and Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) have announced a new Element Hotel, which will be part of the Capital Centre project.

The hotel will be the first of its kind in the Middle East and is expected to be completed in 2011. It will feature a restaurant, swimming pool, fitness centre and 144 one-bedroom guest rooms. There will also be 35 studios and 90 two-bedroom units.

As the project is yet to enter the design phase, the firm is unable to release details of the contracts on offer and no MEP consultants or contractors have been appointed as of yet. The bathrooms will feature water efficient taps and fixtures.

Element Hotels. global brand leader Brian McGuinness revealed: “Abu Dhabi’s vibrant business and development community, combined with the excitement and culture of the city, make it a perfect match for the Element brand.”

He added that every aspect of the hotel is designed to help guests be at their best while they are traveling.
