Enterprise solution provider STME is hoping to enlighten the Middle East’s IT professionals about the benefits of its independent best-of-breed storage area network (SAN) solutions through a number of educational seminars. STME’s partners Emulex, StorageTek, Cisco Systems and ACAL will stand shoulder to shoulder with the vendor as the ‘Sanquest 2005’ seminar tours across the UAE, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Sanquest 2005 will be held at the Sheraton Cairo Hotel Towers and Casino, Cairo, Egypt on November 27, at the Intercontinental Hotel, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 28, and at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dubai on November 30, 2005.
“Sanquest 2005 is targeted at senior decision makers from medium and large enterprises in the Middle East, who have direct responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, enterprise planning and performance management, within their organizations. The seminar will highlight the importance of organisational data protection and management, and as such will prove extremely beneficial to the participants,” said Jocelyn Al Adwani, director at STME.
Senior representatives of STME, Emulex, StorageTek and ACAL will all give presentations at the event. Topics covered will include SAN design, implementation, support and health checks.
“The increased reliance on internet and e-commerce in today’s business environment and the exponential growth of data has driven the rapid adoption of various data storage related technologies in the Middle East, further emphasizing the significance of Sanquest 2005,” concluded Al Adwani.
