The Art of Shaving recently celebrated its two-fear anniversary in United Arab Emirates, during which time that brand has opened three stores - at City Walk, Dubai Festival City and The Dubai Mall, with many more locations to come.
The New York export specialises in hair and beard care, and since opening its first store in Manhattan in 1996, has gone on to also release a range of shaving products.
The anniversary party took place at City Walk’s The Green Room, a lounge venue created by jazz musicians for jazz musicians in Dubai, and the acts certainly didn’t disappoint. Esquire’s Musician of the Year 2018 Award Winner – Layla Kardan – brought down the house with stellar renditions of some of jazz’s greatest hits.
Speaking at the event, Esquire Editor-in-Chief Matthew Baxter-Priest congratulated the brand on a remarkable two years in the UAE, which has seen The Art of Shaving go from relative obscurity to the country’s leading men’s grooming brand.
“We are here tonight to celebrate The Art of Shaving,” said Baxter-Priest, “a company that helps men around the UAE look and feel their best. Happy Anniversary to the brand, and I look forward to help celebrate many more birthdays with The Art of Shaving here in the UAE in the future.”
