Sybase Middle East has unveiled its PowerBuilder 9.0 rapid application development (RAD) tools in the Middle East. Designed to increase productivity, the solution supports XML, JSP, EJB, .Net and web services and also lays the groundwork for 4GLplus, Sybase’s next generation RAD environment.“Sybase has demonstrated its commitment to the dynamic e-business market environment in the Middle East region. With the latest PowerBuilder release, version 9.0, Sybase continues to extend its legacy of rapid application development and unsurpassed productivity with a range of features and benefits that dramatically accelerate the development and integration cycle,” says George Khouri, managing director of Sybase Middle East.“The release of PowerBuilder 9.0 heralds the beginning of 4GLplus, an open RAD tool for heterogeneous deployment environments.
