Taj Hotels announces its exit from Taj Palace Hotel, Deira

Hotel group ends 14-year partnership with Juma Al Majid Group after handing over ownership

Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces has announced its exit from the Taj Palace Hotel, Dubai located at Deira, owned by the Juma Al Majid Group, after a 14-year partnership.

Following a mutual agreement reached between the partners, Taj Palace Hotel, Dubai, which has been run by Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces since 2001, was handed back to the Juma Al Majid Group on August 31.

With the recent opening of Taj Dubai, a 296-room luxury hotel located in the Burj Khalifa Downtown area, Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces has said the Middle-East will continue to be of strategic importance to the group.
