Tameer's Dubai twin towers project on schedule

Jumeirah Village South residential development reaches milestone, firm says.

Work on Tameer Holding Investment’s twin-tower 28-storey project, The Imperial Residence, is continuing at pace, with 22 floors on each tower complete.

Based in Dubai’s Jumeirah Village South, the development will house 510 apartments, as well as a number of amenities and retail units, the developer said in a statement on Monday.

“It gives us true pleasure to announce that the work in progress at The Imperial Residence is moving forward as scheduled,” said Federico Tauber, Tameer’s president.

“Construction activities are advancing on both towers where floor slabs have been cast up to level 22. Podium works, block work and internal activities are also progressing simultaneously on the lower floors.”

Tauber added that the remaining construction was progressing as planned.

In late December, Tameer announced that it had finished the final floor and roof on its 130-storey Silver Tower in Dubai’s Business Bay. The project is on track for opening this year.
