Reem Island master developer to add 3,440 residential units to UAE capital.
Reem Island master developer Tamouh will start handing over the first phase of its Marina Square development in May this year.
“We are adding 3,440 residential units to Abu Dhabi, which is currently facing an acute shortage owing to rapid growth and expansion,” said Tamouh managing director Joe Ong on Tuesday.
The first phase of Marina Square comprises 13 towers, with the second phase – consisting of a luxury hotel and shopping mall – still under construction.
Tamouh’s development is built on a 66-acre plot, and will house more than 8,500 people on completion.
The firm is working on developing a 200m square metre site on Reem Island, which is next to the new Central Business District in the UAE capital.
