Tanmia launches web site

Tanmia's online service to facilitate better participation of nationals in the labour market.

The UAE’s National HR Development and Employment Authority, Tanmia has launched its web site www.tanmia.ae. Through this online bi-lingual service, Tanmia hopes to facilitate better participation of nationals in the labour market. It also gives experts and specialists access to statistics and research reports related to the UAE labour market. Commenting on the launch, His Excellency Matar Humaid Al Tayer, minister of Labour and Social Affairs and chairperson of Tanmia, said: “I am pleased that the launching of the web site witnesses the completion of the first phase and commencement of the second phase. I look forward to seeing employers and our Emirati job seekers make productive use of this web site and contribute to its improvement by voicing their suggestions.”Visitors to the web site can access information about Tanmia, its objectives, services, branches and other related information. Services at the web site for national job seekers include downloading electronic forms, generating CVs in English or Arabic, matching qualifications with vacancies posted on the site, applying for positions and communicating with employers online. Employers can, in turn, register to search for suitable national candidates, schedule interviews and record results.
