In a collaboration of creative minds, office design company Design Element based in Dubai, helped in the architecture and design of one of the most exciting office environments in Dubai, TBWARAAD advertising agency.

"We did a lot of research in to advertising, and the consequent agencies - we wanted this to be a very iconic advertising agency here in the Middle East - and it is," said Elie Azzi, an architect at Design Element.

"We tried to implement the same ideas that are present in their offices worldwide, as well as maintain the practical point of view - in terms of how the office will look, feel and operate. How many people they have, in which department - what department does what - in order for the organic grounds to work properly in the office, these things needed looking in to," he added.

The offices located in Burj Dubai Square contain a range of features to maximise the creative environment of the agency, including an indoor basketball court and indoor garden. Staff can also play pool, bar football, admire the comic book style prints on the walls, or relax on brightly coloured beanbags while brainstorming on the latest campaigns.

"Part of the furniture was designed by us, and part of it was a from a furniture supplier that we deal with from Spain - Buro 45, the representatives of Levesta a designer of furniture and chairs specifically for office environments. For the custom made furniture we designed and executed these according to the clients wishes," said Azzi.

"We did all the MEP studies, the mechanical and electrical studies - and then accordingly we started with the wooden flooring, and finishing touches, everything in the TBWA office came from different countries and different suppliers," he added.
