Track Distribution Middle East (TDME) has increased the invoicing facilities available to its reseller customers by offering them the option of an online statement of account.
Farooque Abbas, credit supervisor at TDME, says that any reseller is now able to go online and, using their unique customer code and password, bring up a detailed readout of their account with TDME. He also said that as soon as relevant information is entered into the distributor’s system it will be securely available online for partners to view.
“Invoice copies will be available and the statement of the account will show the invoice date, the due date, the amount and all of the other details,” explained Abbas. “It will be very easy for the resellers to track if they need anything as everything will be there.”
TDME says that the creation of the portal should alleviate some of the issues that occasionally arose with its previous invoicing methods. “Previously the invoice went to the customer once we shipped the goods,” said Abbas. “The invoice copy would go with the shipment, but if it didn’t reach the customer, they had to call up the finance department and ask for the invoice copy and the statement. Now it is easy. They can just log on, get the invoice and process the payment.”
The distributor also claims that the internet statement system will be particularly useful for its overseas GCC partners. According to Abbas, it will allow partners to stay on top of their payment deadlines, a particularly important issue in today’s financially uncertain climate. For all the latest tech news from the UAE and Gulf countries, follow us on Twitter and Linkedin, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube page, which is updated daily.
