Tejari spreads its wings into healthcare sector

Tejari and Arabmedicare.com have announced a mutual relationship aimed at developing the Arab healthcare industry.

Tejari, the Middle East B2B electronic marketplace will serve the e-procurement and online buying needs of the Arab healthcare industry through Arabmedicare.com, the regional medical web portal, after a partnership between the two companies was announced last night (Jan 27).The agreement enhances Tejari’s portfolio and presence in the region’s healthcare sector and Arabmedicare.com hopes that by trading through Tejari, the public and private sector will improve their communication among suppliers and buyers, reduce labour costs and cut out unnecessary paperwork to create a more efficient and profitable system.“This agreement creates a unique opportunity for both the public and private healthcare sectors to access a comprehensive range of B2B e-procurement and online buying services, regional and disease-specific healthcare information, medical and industry news, market trends, conferences and meetings, and much more, all under one roof,” said Mahatma Davis, CEO for ArabMedicare.com.“Healthcare is a vital industry sector for Tejari, and already a significant portion of goods and services currently being traded through the marketplace are related to the medical sector.
