Nokia Siemens Networks has said it will reveal its product roadmap to customers and employees this month.
Nokia and Siemens, which first announced plans to merge their mobile and fixed-line phone network equipment businesses last year, said they will start sharing their proposed product portfolio plan sometime in early February.
Simon Beresford-Wylie, CEO-designate of Nokia Siemens Networks said providing clarity about future plans was "critical".
Having received antitrust approval in Europe and the US, the merger is expected to close in the first quarter of 2007.
The synergies associated with the creation of Nokia Siemens Networks are expected to result in a headcount adjustment over the next four years of approximately 10-15% from the initial combined base of approximately 60,000.
