Tender award for Keppel

Keppel Integrated Engineering (KIE) has received notification of tender award by the Qatar Government to design and build an integrated waste management facility.

The total value of the contract is around US $1.7 billion (AED6.2 billion) and KIE will operate and maintain the facility for 20 years.

Teo Chang Ching, senior executive, group corporate communications of KIE said: “I am unable to give any further detail on the project as KIE is presently finalising the contracts.

We will be able to disclose further details when the contracts are signed.”

KIE is the environmental technology and engineering arm of Keppel Corporation, a company in Singapore.
