Thai hospitality firm Dusit Hotels and Resorts has announced plans to open a new property in Dubai.

The company said it has signed a technical design agreement with ACES Property Development to bring a new hotel apartment project under the DusitPrincess brand to Dubai.

The agreement was formalised at a signing ceremony held at the Dusit Thani Bangkok by Dusit's group CEO Suphajee Suthumpun and founding director of ACES, Kashif Shahzad.

The DusitPrincess ACES Dubai will be located in the Jumeirah Village Circle, close to the new Al Maktoum International Airport, a statement said, adding that full details will be released at the project's groundbreaking ceremony to be held soon.

Last year, Dusit signed an agreement to manage a new property in Muscat as part of the Palm Mall project which will include Oman's first snow village.

The upscale hotel will feature about 150 guest rooms and 100 suites with some rooms offering views of the mall's aquarium and snow village.
