The Australian government

The Australian government has implemented an action plan to boost the country’s aviation industry. Over the next year, a group of eight people will be appointed to promote the action plan and develop strategic, long-term initiatives for the industry. “This will primarily help the aviation industry to promote leadership, agree on priorities and make commitments to change,” said Ian Macfarlane, minister for industry, tourism and resources. “We strongly encourage the aviation industry to get involved and support this process, which has the potential to generate a signifi cant momentum through the aviation sector.”
