Developer Al Yasat Holdings has launched the US $149.7 million (550 million AED) ‘The One Tower' in Dubai.

The 35-floor executive office tower will be located at Dubai Technology, Electronic Commerce and Media Free Zone Authority (TECOM), with the main entrance being reached through a service road from Sheikh Zayed Road.

The tower will feature high-end office space and a number of additional facilities including a 24-hour business centre, health club, spa, restaurant and basement parking for 124 cars. The ground level will feature a furniture showroom for The One.

Companies will be invited to bid for the main construction package of the project in July, while tenders for the piling works contract will be sent out on 22 May 2007. Dewan Consultants has been hired as the project consultant.

Piling work will begin at the end of May and the tower is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2009.

This is the first prestigious tower we have launched," said Mukram Ulla Khan, CEO, Al Yasat Holdings. According to Khan, further projects will follow including residential towers on Al Sorouh Shams project in Abu Dhabi.
