Dr. Amina Al Rustamani is Group Chief Executive Officer of TECOM Investments, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dubai Holding, and established real estate developer and operator of world class industry-focused business parks.

Prior to becoming Group CEO in January 2013, Dr. Amina was CEO of TECOM Business Parks, an umbrella organisation established in 2009, which oversees the business parks within TECOM Investments’ real estate portfolio.

Dr. Amina originally joined TECOM in 2001 as a Project Engineer for SamaCom. Within four years she was promoted to Broadcast Director at Dubai Media City, before becoming the business park’s Executive Director.

Dr. Amina sits on a number of Boards across both the public and private sectors, including the National Media Council, an industry body established to regulate the UAE’s media sector, Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), and the higher Dubai Smart City Initiative Committee, that aims to transforming Dubai into a ‘Smart City’. She also sits on the Boards of Empower, the Higher Colleges of Technology, Dubai Healthcare City Authority, as well as HULT International Business School.

Dr. Amina played a significant role in establishing the Dubai International Film Festival. She has also been a regular contributor to leading technical journals in the field of wireless technology around the world.

Dr Amina holds degrees at Bachelor and Master levels and a Doctorate in Engineering from George Washington University, Washington D.C. She is widely recognised as one of the Arab world’s most influential business people.
