Juniper’s Samer Shaar, says the vendor’s Adaptive Threat Management toolkit is both application and identity aware and will suit distributed networks.

Juniper Networks has announced what it says are the only adaptive threat management solutions on the market today. The vendor has launched its Adaptive Threat Management Solutions which are an open set of offerings to deliver intelligent security and performance to enterprises. The solutions are both application and identity aware and enable consistent application delivery and performance across the distributed enterprise.

“With organisations in the Middle East distributed widely over the region, enterprises need to ensure that remote users on each location from the office headquarters to branches are on a secure network,” said Samer Shaar, regional director for Juniper Networks, Middle East, central Africa and Pakistan.

“These challenging economic times have driven an increase of attacks to any location from which a corporation may do business. Juniper Networks Adaptive Threat Management solutions offer Middle Eastern enterprises a proactive, robust, highly cooperative and integrated security environment that can occur anywhere in a distributed enterprise,” he added.

The solution set includes Juniper’s WX Client for application acceleration, a new release of Juniper’s network access control solution, an Intrusion Prevention System and new releases of the vendor’s Security Threat Response Manager. The networking giant also explains that the Adaptive Threat Management Solutions are available on a flexible “pay-as-you-grow” deployment model that can reduce risk, and lower the total cost of ownership.
