Organisers are predicting another 60,000 sell-out attendance for the Formula 1 season finale in November
Tickets for this year’s Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix have gone on sale, with organisers predicting another 60,000 sell-out attendance at the season finale.
Last year’s title-deciding race at Yas Marina circuit saw Lewis Hamilton secure the World Championship title in front of a record-breaking number of fans at the Abu Dhabi venue.
The race returns for its seven edition, with organisers offering new and improved ticketing, entertainment and hospitality this year’s event on 27th, 28th and 29th November.
This year will also see new individual ticket packages, including the introduction of a one-day roaming ticket for Friday.
Away from the racing action, visitors are guaranteed a packed programme of entertainment over the course of the event, including A-list musical artists at the after-race concerts.
Local culture will also form a backdrop for UAE’s biggest sporting and entertainment weekend, which will kick-start the UAE National Day celebrations.
Foodies are in for a real treat this year with the promise of a celebrity chef showcasing his culinary flair in the corporate boxes.
Tickets are available online at www.yasmarinacircuit.com and through the Yas Marina Circuit Call Centre (800 927) or +971 (0) 2 659 9800, as well as through all Etihad Shops and Virgin Megastores. Those booking before 31st May can take advantage of the 20 percent ‘Early Bird’ discount, with a special 30 per cent ‘Early Bird’ discount for Marina Grandstand tickets. For all the latest lifestyle news from the UAE and Gulf countries, follow us on Twitter and Linkedin, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube page, which is updated daily.
