Conference on November 12 will debate Arab Spring, unemployment and media
Some of the biggest names in business and politics have confirmed their participation or the 9th Arabian Business Forum, taking place on November 12 at the JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai.
Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair will kick off the event at 9.30am – followed by a heavyweight line up of speakers. Qatar’s Sheikh Mohammed A.J. Althani, and Al Arabiya General Manager Abdulrahman Al-Rashed will both give keynote speeches on the session “Arab Spring – success or failure.”
The morning will also focus on the region’s “Unemployment Timebomb” – with leading UAE lawyer Dr Habib Al Mulla and Crescent Petroleum CEO Majid Jafar due to speak on the subject.
The afternoon will focus on the future of media, with former The Sun editor Kelvin MacKenzie and Starcom MediaVestGroup CEO John Antoniades speaking.
