The firm headed a record German contingent at the show and announced it will soon open a regional office in Dubai Healthcare City.

Capitalising on increased regional demand for medical equipment, customers will be able to test Trumpf equipment for operating rooms and intensive care units.

"Customers are interested above all in complex workplace solutions in the OR and ICU that optimise internal hospital processes and increase patient security," said Lars Michel, director of the regional office and competence centre.
