Returning passenger can also have baggage collected from luggage belt and delivered to their home
Flydubai has launched its new ‘home check-in’ service in partnership with remote check-in service Dubz along with Dnata. The service is now available to book through flydubai.com on new and existing itineraries.
The new doorstep check-in and baggage collection service allows Flydubai passengers to check in for their flight and hand over their baggage to Dubz staff from their home or office. Boarding passes and baggage tags are also printed on the spot.
Passengers who travel with hand baggage only can have their bags collected and handed to them before boarding the aircraft.
In addition, Flydubai passengers returning to Dubai can have their baggage collected from the luggage belt and delivered to their hotel, residence or office.
The service is available up to 24 hours in advance of the flight and six hours ahead of departure.
Jeyhun Efendi, senior vice president of commercial operations at Flydubai, commented on the launch: “Our partnership with Dubz and Dnata sees another convenient travel benefit for Flydubai’s passengers. Home check-in is the latest addition to the Flydubai offering and it demonstrates our team’s dedication to deliver a customised travel experience available to all our passengers.”
Home check-in is available at Dubai International Terminal 2 for all flydubai passengers departing from and arriving in Dubai.
The service starts at AED110 for one bag, while belt pick-up starts at AED99. There is a 30 percent discount on standard prices until June 30.
