Dubai airport operating as normal, says UAE's aviation authority

Update was issued to counter claims that DXB was being targeted by aerial drones

Dubai airport operating as normal, says UAE's aviation authority
Dubai Media Office posted an update on its Twitter account clarifying that “Dubai International (DXB) is operating as normal without any interruption”, quoting the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority.

Dubai International airport is operating as normal, contrary to reports from “questionable sources” that there were delays this morning.

Dubai Media Office posted an update on its Twitter account clarifying that “Dubai International (DXB) is operating as normal without any interruption”, quoting the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority.

The update counters claims made in Houthi media that Dubai International was being targeted by aerial drones from Iran-backed Houthi rebels. A similar fake claim was made about Abu Dhabi International airport earlier this year.
