Saudia has launched its first ever flight from Jeddah to Marrakech.
The service will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and becomes the airline’s second destination in Morocco, after Casablanca.
At a ceremony to mark the inaugural flight, Abdullah bin Saad Al-Ghurairi, Saudi Ambassador to Morocco, said: “The flight seeks to strengthen air traffic between the two countries and will encourage tourism and will serve as a platform to inaugurate other lines to other tourism cities across Morocco.”
The director of the Saudi Arabian Airlines in Morocco, Mohammed Al-Samrani, revealed that the number of passengers traveling to and from Morocco in the past two years had increased by 19 percent. For all the latest transport news from the UAE and Gulf countries, follow us on Twitter and Linkedin, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube page, which is updated daily.
