Dubai Metro services resume following 'technical malfunction'
In an update issued this afternoon, the RTA said "the technical malfunction has been resolved and the affected metro stations are operating normally".

Dubai Metro services on the red line have resumed as normal this afternoon following disruptions earlier this morning. 

A 'technical malfunction' initially affected services at the Sharaf DG station, in Al Barsha, but the issue spread to four more stations: Noor Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Internet City.

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority offered a bus service between the affected stations.

In an update issued this afternoon, the RTA said "the technical malfunction has been resolved and the affected metro stations are operating normally".
