Emirates said the new appointments will help deliver a strong business performance.

Emirates on Thursday announced several key management changes across its commercial operations team in the Middle East, Far East, Europe and Emirates Skywards.

The airline said these appointments will reinforce its presence across strategic markets, and is in line with its commercial strategy to "maintain its industry-leading position and deliver a strong business performance".

The new appointments, effective from November 1, will see 12 Emirati commercial managers take on new leadership roles at Emirates.

Adnan Kazim, chief commercial officer for Emirates, said: "We've always been committed to nurturing the career progression of UAE Nationals to become leaders of tomorrow.

"With rapid changes happening across the industry, it is even more imperative that we stay agile, and have the right commercial talent to lead our teams in delivering on our strategy.

"I am confident that each newly appointed member of our commercial team will bring their expertise, leadership, and dedication to deliver strong commercial results and boost customer loyalty as we chart the next phase of Emirates' growth."
