Flydubai passengers have been instructed to use Terminal 1 from December 15
Flydubai passengers travelling to Kuwait later this month will be arriving at a different terminal.
From December 15, flights to and from Kuwait will operate from Terminal 1, Kuwait International Airport (KWI) and not from Sheikh Saad Al Abdallah terminal (T3).
The latter is being closed for the construction of a new passenger terminal (T2), with work due to begin in January.
A spokesperson for Flydubai said: “Passengers can proceed to check in for their flight at the dedicated Flydubai check-in counters in Zone 4 at Terminal 1, Kuwait International Airport (KWI).
“Passengers travelling in Business Class can check in at the dedicated Flydubai Business Class check-in counters and access the Pearl Business Lounge.”
The Civil Aviation Authority also confirmed that the road leading to T3 will also be closed.
T2, which will have a capacity to accommodate 25 million passengers annually, is due to be complete and fully operational by 2023.For all the latest transport news from the UAE and Gulf countries, follow us on Twitter and Linkedin, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube page, which is updated daily.
