Emirates airline's cancellations include flight to Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland
Dubai’s Emirates airline has cancelled a number of flights on Monday, February 10 due to high winds caused by Storm Ciara, the carrier announced on Twitter.
In a tweet, Emirates said that flights EK43 and EK44 from Dubai to Frankfurt and back have been cancelled, as well as flights EK53 and EK54 between Dubai and Munich.
Due to Storm Ciara, the following flights have been cancelled on 10th February:
EK43/EK44: Dubai – Frankfurt – Dubai
EK53/EK54: Dubai – Munich – Dubai
EK145/EK146: Dubai – Amsterdam – Dubai
EK87/EK88: Dubai – Zurich – Dubai

Other cancelled flights include EK145 and EK146 between Amsterdam and Dubai and flights EK87 and EK88 between Dubai and Zurich.
Affected passengers have been rebooked on the next available flights.
“Emirates apologises for any inconveniences caused,” a statement from the airline said. “The safety of our customers and crew is of utmost important and will not be compromised.”
On Sunday, an Emirates flight between Dubai and Glasgow was forced to divert to Manchester because of high winds caused by the storm.
