Emirates aircraft in DXB collision with British Airways, no injuries reported

An aircraft collided with a parked Emirates aircraft at Dubai International airport on Tuesday morning, the airline has confirmed.

In a statement, an Emirates spokesperson said, “We can confirm that early this morning (April 14), another airline’s aircraft made contact with a stationary Emirates aircraft at Dubai International airport.

“No one was injured. The incident is under investigation.”

According to the aviation website One Mile at a Time, the airplanes involved were a British Airways Airbus A350-1000 and an Emirates Boeing 777.

Pictures posted on social media purporting to be from the incident show significant damage to the aircraft, particularly to the left horizontal stabilizer of the BA aircraft.
