Etihad Airways to operate repatriation flights to US, Europe, Asia and Australia
Etihad Airways announced a new schedule of repatriation flights from Abu Dhabi to 14 destinations on its global route network.
The airline said the special schedule of flights will give expats in the UAE the opportunity to travel out of the country, as well as allow Etihad to carry essential belly-hold cargo, such as perishables, pharmaceuticals, and medical supplies.
The return flights from the 14 destinations are also repatriating UAE nationals back to Abu Dhabi.
These special flights from Abu Dhabi will be available for booking through its website, mobile app, or by calling the Etihad Airways Contact Centre on +971 600 555 666 (UAE), or through a local or online travel agency.
UAE nationals wishing to return home should contact their local UAE embassy or consulate.
Earlier this month, Etihad Airways said it plans to operate reduced passenger services from May 1 to June 30, “with the aim of gradually returning to a fuller schedule as and when the global situation improves”. The plan is subject to the government-imposed travel restrictions being lifted on passenger travel.
