The airline will fly Indian nationals from Dammam to locations including Chennai, Ahmedabad, Mangalore and Cochin
Bahraini carrier Gulf Air is working with Indian authorities in Saudi Arabia to organise repatriation flights between Dammam and a number of Indian cities, the airline has announced.
In a statement, Gulf Air said that upcoming planned charter flights will operate to destinations including Chennai, Ahmedabad, Mangalore and Cochin.
In May, Gulf Air carried a record 50 tonnes of fresh meats and produce from Lahore to Riyadh on-board a new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
In April, the carrier also conducted a number of flights as part of Bahrain’s International Covid-19 Repatriation Programme (ICRP), the company announced.
In a statement, Gulf Air said it had flown Bahraini nationals home from Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt and Turkey.
