Trapeze signs EMW as regional distributor

Trapeze Networks has signed up East Meets West (EMW) as the distributor for its product lines across the whole Middle East region.

“The Trapeze Business Partner program enhances our ability as a value added distributor to look beyond current trends,” said Serjios El-Hage, EMW’s vice president for the Middle East.

“By working in conjunction with Trapeze, we can develop timely and efficient solutions for our customers which is key in terms of localising our consultancy and service abilities with an impeccable track record in positioning the Trapeze product line,” he added.

Trapeze opened its European headquarters in 2003, and has pushed its range of Wi-Fi wireless networking products across the region. According to the company, 1,500 customers now use its WLAN systems, including Independent Television News (ITN) in the UK, and La Coruna University in Spain.

“Since Trapeze launched in Europe, we have steadily developed our business through product innovations and a dedicated channel partner go-to-market teams,” said Keith Van Veenendaal, general manager and vice-president for sales for Trapeze Europe, Middle East and Africa.

“EMW’s appointment enables us to further expand our WiFi business into the Middle East Region.”

Trapeze currently has more than 130 business partners across the world.

EMW, which has its Middle East headquarters in Dubai, has completed numerous enterprise networking deployments in the region, including Showtime, and a NME Award-winning project at the Burj Al Arab.
