Khidmah wins contract to manage Sharjah beaches

Khidmah, a property solutions provider, has been awarded a contract to manage Sharjah’s beaches.

Khidmah’s Community and Lifestyle Solutions division will oversee more than 13 miles of beaches, providing lifeguards and related safety personnel.

The agreement signed with Sharjah Municipality will provide lifeguards and related services to operate Al Khan 1 and 2 in Sharjah, as well as related training and support.

Khidmah said it currently manages beaches in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah, employing over 200 lifeguards to serve developments, hotels, and communities across the UAE.

“Khidmah is proud to be one of the few comprehensive service providers in the UAE. We operate a First Aid and Lifeguard Training Centre, in addition to providing pool and beach lifeguard services, as well as a wide array of services for the property developer and housing sectors,” said Abdulla Al Qamzi, managing director of Khidmah.

Khidmah currently supports a wide list of clients that include Aldar, FGP, ADNOC, Sharjah municipality, Shurooq, and Novotel Hotels.
