International hotelier Gordon Campbell Gray says to launch The Merchant House in Manama in September
A luxury boutique, suites-only hotel is set to open its doors in Manama, Bahrain later this year.
Courtesy of international hotelier Gordon Campbell Gray, The Merchant House is set to open in September, the company said in a statement.
Located next to the Bab el-Bahrain Souk, the hotel development will feature 47 suites in total, each featuring an open plan kitchen and dining area, as well as sitting rooms.
As with all Campbell Gray Hotels, artwork will be a prominent feature of the interior design and founder Gordon Campbell Gray has been putting together a collection comprising of Bahraini artists as well as upcoming talent from both Bahrain and the region.
The rooftop - another Campbell Gray speciality - is where you will find the main restaurant and the bar with options to eat indoors or outdoors. There is also a rooftop pool and a gym, as well as a small boardroom for meetings and private events.
Campbell Gray said: “We are so looking forward to bringing our special brand of hospitality to Bahrain this year with the opening of The Merchant House in Manama. We are confident that with its central location, beautiful facilities and comfortable all-suite accommodation it will be rather special, and we are eager to welcome our first guests through the door.”
