Emirates on Thursday announced that due to strong market demand it will introduce five additional flights per week from Dubai to Amsterdam.
The additional flights will complement its existing double daily services, with four additional weekly services starting on December 1 and a fifth launching from January 1.
They will increase frequency to the Dutch capital city to 19 weekly flights, the airline said in a statement.
Outbound, flight EK145 will depart early morning from Dubai on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it added.
The return service, EK146, will depart from Amsterdam on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday late morning time.
The new service will be operated by an Emirates Boeing 777-300ER in a three class cabin configuration, with eight private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 310 spacious seats in Economy Class.
From a cargo perspective, the new 777 service will offer up to 20 tonnes of capacity per flight, with popular exports from Amsterdam expected to be flowers, pharmaceuticals and general cargo items.
