Radisson Collection property overlooks the Nofa Wildlife Park near Riyadh
Radisson Collection has opened a new “African-style” resort overlooking Saudi Arabia’s Nofa Wildlife Park near Riyadh, Radisson Hotel Group announced on Monday.
The resort includes 57 bungalows and villas overlooking the park, which is located an hour and a half’s drive away from Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport.
“We…believe this is a positive step in raising the awareness of leisure tourism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where both domestic and international visitors will enjoy a fabulous experience,” said Tim Cordon, area senior vice president for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa.
Aside from the wildlife park, which houses over 700 animals including zebras, sables, giraffes and cheetahs, the property also includes equestrian facilities and an 18-hole golf course.
The property also includes three on-site restaurants, as well as a hookah lounge, tea room, a spa and two swimming pools, one of which is reserved for female guests.
According to Radisson, the resort includes a ballroom which can host up to 500 guests for special occasions, as well as two boardrooms which can host as many as 60 guests each.
“We look forward to welcoming our first guests to this distinctive and exclusive African-style resort,” said Gary Ellis, the property’s general manager. “I’m confident the blend of deluxe accommodation, unique facilities and the service provided by our enthusiastic team will prove to be a compelling reason to visit.”
