American rapper and actor Jaden Smith, who is also the founder of sustainable North American brand Just Goods, paid a visit to Middle East food and beverage exhibition Gulfood on Monday.
Smith’s visit came after Just Goods announced interest in regional partnerships. The founder attended the event in Dubai alongside company CEO Ira Laufer, where the duo took part in a number of talks with local stakeholders regarding potential partnerships for Just Water in the UAE.
Just Goods’ 100% pure spring water brand claims to be ethically-sourced and is sold in paper-based bottles with plant-based caps.
Details of Just Goods’ potential regional partnerships were not shared, however.
In October last year, Just Goods received the “Best Packaging Solution” award at the Global Bottled Water Congress due to the cost-effective and environmentally responsible nature of its Tetra Top carton bottle, which is produced by Switzerland-based food packaging company Tetra Pak.
Smith is the son of American actor and rapper Will Smith, who is also a regular visitor to Dubai. His first movie role was alongside his father in 2006 film The Pursuit of Happyness.
