Etihad Airways’ loyalty programme, Etihad Guest, is partnering with Emirates NBD to allow the bank’s customers to convert their credit card loyalty programme points into Etihad Guest Miles, the two announced on Monday.
Beginning on September 15, Emirates NBD customers will be able to exchange 1 ‘Plus Point’ for 10 Etihad Guest Miles after converting a minimum of 500 Plus Points.
To celebrate the launch, Emirates NBD customers will be able to have a 20 percent bonus miles reward and will be eligible to win one of 20 prizes of 50,000 Miles each between September 15 and October 31.
The bonus of 20 percent Etihad Guest Miles will be credited within 15 days, at the end of the launch campaign.
“Partnering with an institution like Emirates NBD gives our customers a variety of choices to enhance their Etihad Guest Miles balance, which can be utilised for free flights or upgrades simply by continuing their everyday spending,” said Yasser Al Yousuf, Etihad Aviation Group’s vice president, commercial partnerships.
“We provide many opportunities to use Etihad Guest Miles, such as redeeming them for flights or upgrades, using them to book over 300,000 hotels worldwide, to purchase hundreds of products online on the Etihad Guest Reward Shop, or to donate their miles to charity,” he added.
