Hospitality giant reveals Palace Downtown is closed for renovation and is scheduled to reopen in July
Emaar Hospitality has said that the Address Sky View and Address Dubai Mall are still open for UAE guests over the coronavirus outbreak.
However, the hotel giant has confirmed that the Palace Downtown is closed for renovations and is scheduled to reopen in July.
A statement from the company to Arabian Business said: “As Emaar Hospitality navigates through an unprecedented and ever-changing landscape, we continue to work closely with local government authorities.
“In line with the directive from Dubai Tourism; we can confirm that we sustain operations of our residences and hotel facilities in Address Sky View and Address Dubai Mall. The Palace Downtown will expedite the current renovation, ready to reopen to welcome guests in July.”
Earlier this week the UAE authorities announced that all restaurants, cafes and fast food outlets were to close, except for deliveries. Restaurants in hotels were also exempt from the ruling and that is the case for both the Address Sky View and Address Dubai Mall, where they will be open for overnight guests and residents only, operating according to the latest guidelines.
At the start of the month it was revealed that three Emaar hotels were stopping taking reservations until the end of May, Address Fountain Views, Vida Creek Harbour and Vida Emirates Hills.
