TRI hotel advisor of the year

TRI Hospitality Consulting has been voted advisor of the year at the first Hotel Report Awards.

TRI Hospitality Consulting has been voted advisor of the year at the first Hotel Report Awards.

The consultancy firm, which set up its Dubai office in 1995, was voted advisor of the year by more than 1000 voters from within the hospitality industry.

Hotel Report editor Katherine Doggrell said that TRI faced strong competition but had provided consistent high quality in-depth advice, which the industry had come to rely on, adding that HotStats could be counted as one of the sectors definitive benchmarking services.

TRI defeated finalists PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Berwin Leighton Paisner and CMS Cameron McKenna and Rothschild to steal the award, and the firm's managing director for Dubai Peter Goddard expressed delight at the victory.

"To be nominated and voted for by the industry means a great deal and it is testament to the hard work and commitment of the TRI and HotStats teams," he said.

Amongst TRI Hospitality Consulting's past clients are The Palm Jumeirah, Burj Dubai and The World.
