Pinar, a Turkish meat and dairy producer, gained new markets for its halal turkey products, in Egypt, the Gulf, Yemen and the Levant, at Gulfood 2007. The products will be distributed by HDF FZCO, which represents Pinar Food Group in the countries.

"We decided to launch this new product line to satisfy the increasing demand for high quality products that are made from fresh and Halal meat," said Arda Cenk Tokbas, general manager, HDF FZCO. "The new product range includes the chilled category comprising soudjouk, sausages and salamis and will be followed by the launch of frozen meat products shortly.

"The launch took place during the Gulfood exhibition where our stand generated remarkable response from food enthusiasts who came to know that our turkey meat offering is as healthy as white, and as tasty as red."
