A Saudi national and a Pakistani were executed in the kingdom on Tuesday, the interior ministry said in a statement carried by state news agency SPA.

The Saudi, Nader bin Mussa al-Harbi, was beheaded in the northern city of Hail after being convicted of strangling compatriot Bandar bin Muhya Al Harbi over a dispute, the ministry said.

Pakistani citizen Benyameen Ali Ahmed was executed in Jeddah after being convicted of smuggling drugs in his stomach.

He was the second Pakistani national to be executed for drug smuggling in the kingdom in the past week. On Thursday, Mohammed Shafiq Abu Al Islam was beheaded in Qatif Governorate in Eastern Region for smuggling a large quantity of heroin, SPA reported.
