UAE’s GCAA is working with international civil aviation agencies to prevent any future threats after an explosive package was found in Dubai last week

The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority is working with international civil aviation agencies to prevent any future threats after an explosive package was found in Dubai last week.

“UAE has endeavored and practiced assisting various states in combating threats to aviation security in every possible way,” Saif Mohammad Al Suwaidi, director general of the GCAA, said in an emailed statement on Wednesday.

“The GCAA is constantly monitoring the security situation at our airports and is equipped to take necessary action as deemed necessary.”
