UAE's Aldar says to launch sales at Meera project next week

Abu Dhabi developer says more than 400 apartments will go up for sale on June 13-14

UAE's Aldar says to launch sales at Meera project next week

Aldar Properties has announced plans to launch sales for its Meera residential development in Shams Abu Dhabi on Reem Island on June 13-14.

Meera features two 26-storey towers overlooking a landscaped park, with 408 one, two or three-bedroom apartments.

Aldar said in a statement that prices will start from AED900,000 for one bedroom, AED1,200,000 for two bedroom and AED1,600,000 for three bedroom.

Mohammad Al Mubarak, CEO at Aldar said: "Meera offers buyers the chance to own an attractive home in one of Abu Dhabi's most desired destinations, Shams Abu Dhabi.

"Due to the strong demand for mid-market residential properties in prime locations in the capital, we are expecting high interest in the development from owner-occupiers and investors that are seeking homes and strong return on investment."

Aldar said a number of neighbourhood and community amenities will complement the buildings, including a canal, parks, a public beach, mosque, schools and hospitals, healthcare facilities, and retail outlets.

An MPM market report on Abu Dhabi's real estate sector in H1 highlighted a high demand for studio, one and two-bedroom apartments, with smaller residential units providing investors with the highest yields.
