UAE-based Azizi Developments has announced the launch of its 271-unit Roy-Mediterranean serviced apartment project in the Al Furjan district of Dubai.

The Roy-Mediterranean is Azizi Developments' 12th project to launch in Al Furjan, the company said in a statement.

Farhad Azizi, CEO of Azizi Developments, said: "Al Furjan, Dubai, is set to become one of the key developments in the Dubai South districts and a key tourism destination, with Bollywood Park and Lego Land in close proximity.

"In the lead up to, during and beyond Expo 2020, Azizi Developments is confident that its investment in the Roy-Mediterranean will meet the growing demand for affordable residential and serviced apartment units, as well as providing good returns for stakeholders and owners of the units."

When complete, the furnished apartments will span over 2.6 hectares and offer 224 luxury studios and 47 one-bedroom units. The total cost of the project is said to be in the region of AED350 million.
