Popular food chain launches global recruitment campaign for next 12 months as it expands brand
UAE start-up success story Just Falafel has launched a global recruitment campaign to double its workforce in the next 12 months.
The fast-food brand has announced the campaign, ‘Would you like to work with me?’ using social media, already attracting several hundred views on its website, and 100 job applications daily.
An innovative YouTube video featuring senior management advises job seekers to complete a ‘to do’ list before potentially coming in for an interview and joining its current 700 employees.
CEO Fadi Malas said: "Whilst academic achievement, drive and personal achievements are of course important, it's also key for me to know each potential employee on a more personal level.
“We are looking for authentic, inspired people in line with our core values that will live and breathe our corporate culture within the restaurants and back at Head Office.”
Just Falafel opened its first store in Abu Dhabi in 2007 before franchising the concept. Now, there are more than 50 restaurants open across 18 countries, with agreements to open an enormous 903 further outlets around the world.
